Tuesday Update with Two Story World Building

Hi everyone. It’s been a while since my last update. I’ve been struggling to find time to write. Right now I have finished the first chapter in Billy and Kÿla’s story that is due to come out this April. The plan is to get back into things over the next week. I need to move on throughout the book planning to get farther along before October hits. 

Are you excited for October to be here already? My birthday is in October so I am excited to have it come and go. I rarely do anything big and grand for my birthday because things always go haywire around this time of year. Right now, everything bad has happened in August and September has been a peaceful month. As for October I need to get Teddy his shots and the boys their costumes for Halloween. 

Another big thing happening in October is “Ties of Friendship.” It is the second box set/anthology that I have going this year so far. This one has two of my Tales of Ferrês stories inside it. “Bonds of Friendship” was the third story I wrote in “The Tales of Ferrês Series.” It was a way to add some backstory to Queen Karigan’s life, by writing a tale on how she met Silvashi the King of all Dragons. They are only adolescents in this story and find that they grew a close bond between each other with little trouble. Karigan was always meant to be Silvashi’s best friend. And her family finds their bond too strong to break. I really enjoyed writing this story and love re-reading it. Here is hoping you will pick up a copy of Ties of Friendship to get a chance at reading this story too.

As for “A Forbidden Friendship,” this story is featured in my Tales of Ferrês series too. But this story is the ninth edition into the series. Which doesn’t really matter since you can read any of the stories in the series in any order. But this is Prince Billy’s story where he goes on a quest as a journeyman mage and has to prove he can survive a year out on the roads of his kingdom. He is about ready to head back to Elërya, the city of mages, when he gets pulled into the Forest of Ferrês. There he meets Kÿla and they become fast friends. She isn’t supposed to leave the forest, let alone the land of the twin-tailed foxes. But she goes on with Billy to see what comes of their adventures. It is an adventure like no other and they are only starting on it. I plan to continue their tale in my book I am working on that is planned to be released April 2026.
