Hi everyone. It’s been awhile since my last post. “The Emerald Knight” has been sent off to the editor. Now I am working out the details for Prince Billy and Kÿla’s story. This is a continuation from my story in Tales of Ferrês: “A Forbidden Friendship.” You will get to see some adventures that Billy and Kÿla go on when they get back to Elërya, the city of mages.
Right now I am in the building stages for Billy’s book. He is the one and only blue mage who wears blue robes. There are other classes of mages who wear different colors of robes. Healers and light magic users who follow Bright Star wear white robes. They also follow Salza since many of the white-robed mages are elves.
As for the red-robed mages they follow Gryphon. He is a god of neutrality who plays both sides of light and darkness. These mages have more power associated with fire and battle magic. Then there are the black-robed mages. They follow Thorso the god of the abyss. Most of the magic they do is necromancy and dark spells. They break the rules more and have issues fitting in. Sometimes they follow some of the lesser gods and goddesses that represent the night. They are not all bad since some only have minor gifts. But many look down on them since they are associated more with dark magic.
As for the blue mage there has only been one in the history of humanity. He was the brother of the Queen when the Empire was strong. His name was lost to the books of history and many forgot he existed until the staff of Mortez chose another to wield it. Many believed him to be a descendant of the goddess Serena, the goddess of the blue moon. He was the only one who could call on her power besides his sister the Queen. Legend states that the staff of Mortez can only be wielded by the god himself. But many don’t realize if he is the god or a descendant of his.
I thought this look into the robed mages history would be fun for this weeks post. The plan is to reveal something each week as I write on my current WIP or something I've already written. Hope you will enjoy these posts and love learning about this world as I write it.
Also, I would like to state that my fellow book “The SwordMaster Brothers” is featured in the “Beyond the Realms” box set right now for $2.99. Meet SwordMaster Rikkin and Roülle as they go on the quest to become SwordMasters officially. It is a standalone book within the world of Tarzinëa and you won’t want to miss it.
