Character Interviewwith Roülle
Katie Jenkins-Merical — Greetings everyone. I would like to thank you Roülle for sitting down with me today. Could you please tell us a little bit about yourself?
Roülle — Hi names Roülle (shrugs and scratched the back of his head) but I guess you already knew that. I guess I could share the basics. I'm the younger brother to Rikkin and we have been inseparable ever since a disastrous crime inflicted on our village. Things have been rough over the years but if it wasn't for the SwordMaster organization I don't know what we would have done.
Katie Jenkins-Merical — That is interesting. What exactly is the SwordMaster organization?
Roülle — It is where soldiers of high rank that have magical abilities go to train to hopefully line the ranks of SwordMasters around the world. The purpose for our organization is to keep the peace and help those in need. But I think sometimes my brother is stuck more in the past and seeks revenge more than peace for what happened to our family.
Katie Jenkins-Merical — Oh...what happened to your family?
Roülle — I don't like to talk about it that much. Back when I was a kid our village got attacked by some really nasty bandits. Rikkin tried to save those he could but he was just a kid. I think he holds a chip on his shoulder for failing to protect those that day. I know I sure do.
Katie Jenkins-Merical — That is horrible. I am so sorry you had to go through that. It must had made things hard between you two with dealing with survival and dealing with your grief.
Roülle — We dealt with it in our own way, I think. I kind of have this problem with partying and spending to much time down at the brewery. Rikkin on the other hand buried himself into his studies and training.
Katie Jenkins-Merical — What is something you would like to share with our readers before you go?
Roülle — Hang onto your family and pray to the gods that they will always be protected. I lost most of mine minus my brother. But if it wasn't for the people we come to live with we would have never found our new family amongst our friends. Sometimes the gods work in mysterious ways and I know for sure my test in my book is examples of that for sure. Hope you have a great week and I'm out. (Waves goodbye and leaves the room).
Katie Jenkins-Merical — Thank you everyone for stopping by our blog today to meet Roülle stay tuned for next week when we have another author from our box set "Beyond the Realms," feature a guest post of there own. Have a happy hump day!
